Frequently-asked questions (FAQ)

Who runs the MSN Garnock Academy FP Group?

A team of former pupils manage the Group, which is run as a 'public restricted' group on MSN.  'Public restricted' means that non-members can see some of the content but can't post messages, photos, etc.

Are there any charges to join?

No.  However, you do need a Microsoft .NET Passport, which is free.

Can I look around the site before becoming a member?

Yes.  Non-members can see much of the site content.  However, non-members can't add or remove discussion posts and pictures.

Are there any restrictions on membership?

The MSN Group is intended only for former pupils of Garnock Academy.  If you were not a former pupil,  but are still interested in contacting former classmates, you could try the Friends Reunited web site.

What does the school motto 'Partes quisque suas' mean?

Motto of Garnock Academy - 'Partes quisque suas'

The motto is in Latin and means "Everyone has a part to play" or "Each person must play his or her part".
